The Short Answer
There is no playtest to sign up for anymore — and you don't need one. Soul's Remnant is live and free in Steam Early Access as of August 13, 2026. The public tests wrapped up before launch.

June 2026 Public Test
On June 6, 2026, the developer announced a public test on r/MMORPG. It ran for roughly three weeks with three goals: bug fixes, progression-experience feedback, and server stress testing.
That test build added a reworked tutorial, weapon / armor / jewelry / cooking crafting, a new NPC friendliness system, new maps, monsters, and quests, plus a batch of quality-of-life changes. Much of what launched in Early Access was shaped by this round.
Steam Next Fest Demo
Soul's Remnant also ran a Steam Next Fest playtest. The official homepage now explicitly marks it as concluded — that status is worth repeating because cached pages still show the old sign-up banner.
Watching Old Footage Safely
